Eastern Neck’s Economic Impact Analysis

FOEN is determined to do everything in our power to preserve Eastern Neck NWR for the ecosystem it sustains, the community that treasures this historic island, and the 80,000 visitors a year who enjoy it. A recent independent economic analysis commissioned by our organization showed that the Refuge brings an estimated $1 million in revenue to the area through tourism and recreation.

Something to keep in mind as we enter 2026.
