The Friends of Eastern Neck is a 501(c)3 nonprofit citizens’ support group founded in 1997 to assist the US Fish and Wildlife Service in carrying out its educational, interpretive, and public use missions at Eastern Neck NWR. Currently our ranks include over 300 members who have helped us become one of the most beloved volunteer conservation organizations in our region. The Friends of Eastern Neck are part of the larger network of almost 200 Friends groups that support the National Wildlife Refuge System around the country.

As federal budgets shrink, groups like the Friends of Eastern Neck are more essential than ever in helping to protect treasures such as Eastern Neck NWR. Take a moment to explore our website and learn more about our work, how to become a member or a volunteer, and how to get our newsletter.
