Notice

Due to a lapse of appropriations funding, on-site volunteer and Friends activities are suspended at Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Volunteers and Friends may not access government facilities or volunteer on the refuge during this time.

This means that the Visitor Contact Station in the lodge will be closed, including the Nature Store/Gift Shop.

Please note, although the Visitor Contact Station will be closed, refuge trails will be open and hunts will continue as planned.

Once appropriations funding is approved by Congress and the Government, the refuge will return to normal operations.
